The Menagerie
I can't seem to find the answer to this so far. I have a pet that I don't want to lose, however I lucked out and got a Moss Spider egg and trained it at Zaishen.
The question is: If I give my pet to Embryl can I retrieve it and swap the pets when I want? I have a Stalker that I have had since I began the game and really don't want to get rid of him, yet I would like to try the spider out. Is this possible? |

You can give your Stalker to the Keeper and pull a new one out of a specific evolution whenever you like. Swapping between multiple kinds of pets is extremely easy.

The whole point of The Menagerie is to allow you to swap pets without losing the current one forever. Prior to its creation, you had to sell your pet to a pet tamer before you could capture a new one. And if you wanted the old type back, you had to start from scratch.

To pull your pet that you left there: How do you find it again?
When I took another character to get the level 20 moss spider, the only ones I could find were level 5. What am I missing? Thank you both SO much for your help. It is appreciated! |

You talk to Wynn, and say "I want a lvl x, y evolution, z critter" and he spawns them and you charm it. This assumes you have already "Raised" the critter in the first place to the tier you are trying to obtain. You can't just grab a level 5 critter, release it into your menagerie, and expect to go get a level 20 dire version right after. It takes a little work. From what I am reading, it seems you got the spider egg, and now have moss spiders in your menagerie, you still have to charm one, and train it to level 20, you don't just get a free level 20 critter. I got the moss spider egg, gave it to Helena, used up Balthazar points and coins and got it to level 20. So, that being said I should be able to get the level 20 spider, correct?

Kuma, I can confirm if you pay to have it leveled up that you will get the level 20! I am so happy.

I agree Tobi! For awhile hubby and I had said there needed to be a stable or something like this so you could have more than one pet at your disposal. Now I am on a "charming" mission. lol
